The ski holiday resort of Jasper – Marmot
Reputed to be the most beautifully located ski resort in North America, Marmot basin is located in the spectacular Jasper National Park.
Free ski bus or car are required to transfer from the historic town of Jasper to the ski area at Marmot Basin, a distance of around 20km. The skiing in Jasper – Marmot is split well amongst the categories with around 40% of the ski terrain in Jasper – Marmot categorised as advanced or expert. Heli skiing is available for accessing the best off- piste powder. Jasper – Marmot also has a terrain park and pipe. Après ski only really takes place in Jasper and is limited to a handful of bars. Leisure facilities are on offer in the nearby wilderness in the national park.
