Ski holidays in Kicking Horse.

The rapidly improving and expanding ski holiday resort of Kicking Horse, Canada.

It had to happen; a ski area with snow and terrain as good as Kicking Horse had to develop from the antiquated infrastructure of very recent years. In the last few years there has been infrastructure investment in the lift system and mountain facilities, whilst in the resort of Kicking Horse, new accommodation has sprung up. There is ample skiing for beginners in Kicking Horse but only limited intermediate skiing. It is the advanced or expert skier who is totally spoilt in Kicking Horse. With 60% of the ski terrain classified as advanced as advanced / expert, Kicking Horse is a dream ski destination for accomplished skiers and boarders. Add to this the famous powder fields and it is easy to see why investors are developing a ski product here, to rival the natural attributes on hand. Après ski in Kicking Horse very much reflects the exertions of the day; namely that few who have sampled the mountain during the day have much left to kept them going at night. Bars and restaurants exist but Kicking Horse is a real skiers and boarders destination.
