Silver Star is a modern, purpose-built ski resort that has been well planned to allow almost all the accommodation to be ski-in, ski-out; a great convenience when families are visiting Silver Star. Silver Star is car free and has good family amenities. For skiers wanting a change of scenery, (albeit, one of similar tall, blanketed white peaks) then Big White, with its shared ski pass is a great option. Après ski in Silver Star is fairly good with several bars, a casino and numerous restaurants.
